31st Euro – African spearfishing championship

From 13 to 17 September 2017, Udica Sports and Fishing Association from Mali Lošinj, in cooperation with the Town of Mali Lošinj, Tourist Board of Mali Lošinj and Jadranka Group, organize the 31st Euro-African Spearfishing Championship under the auspices of the Office of the President Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, with the support of the Croatian National Tourist Board.

During this two-day competition (15 and 16 September), the Lošinj aquatorium is expected to host more than 120 participants and visitors from 19 different European and African countries as well as some of the best spear fishermen.

On the first day of the program, 13 September 2017, the youngest will be restocking at the port of Mali Lošinj at 11 o'clock. The ceremonial opening of the Euro-African Spearfishing Championship will take place on 14 September 2017 at 18:00 in the Mali Lošinj Square with the performance of the band The Beat Fleet (TBF). The competition will commence on 15 September 2017 at 10:00 after which the catch will be scaled. Also, on 16 September 2017, at the end of the championship and scaling of the catch, at 19:00 Bočac sports hall will host the award ceremony and the closing ceremony of the competition.
